Brief

Taga Sushi needed a complete brand for their restaurant launch in Lingen, Germany — covering everything from the storefront to the table. The client needed a visual identity strong enough to compete in an established market and flexible enough to work across physical spaces, print, and digital.

Challenge

The sushi restaurant category in Germany is visually saturated with dark, clichéd aesthetics. Taga Sushi needed to stand out — modern and Japanese in sensibility, without relying on overused tropes. The brand had to feel welcoming to families and cool to younger diners at the same time.

Approach

Starting with competitor research across five local restaurants, we built a brand personality rooted in sincerity and excitement. The logo abstracts the letter T into Japanese architectural forms and fish imagery — structured, minimal, and entirely custom. The identity system uses a bold three-color palette and seigaiha wave pattern applied consistently across every surface.

Delivered

The complete rollout covered: door and outdoor signage, interior wall graphics, counter branding, in-store posters, print menu, digital menu, chopstick sleeves, loyalty cards, and branded collateral.
